'Anna Pavlova' by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara with illustrations by Sue Downing is volume 85 in the Little People, BIG DREAMS series.

Anna Pavlova was born premature and lived in a tiny house with her mother in Saint Petersburg. When her mother took her to a ballet, her future was set, but it was not an easy one at first. She became successful because she gave her best.

I knew of this person, but was delighted to learn more. The illustrations have a wavy quality to simulate graceful dance.
