'The 27 Run: Crush' with story and art by Justin Zimmerman is a graphic novel that is a continuation of a story.

Beti and her telepathic dog E.K pilot a huge mech, attempting to wipe out the 27 huge monsters now ruling the Earth. When they seem to be surrounded and about to be overrun, they find that there is another mech and pilot out there, Beti's ex, called pilot.

This was a pretty cool story with some great art and color. There is plenty of action and humor that had me flipping pages.
