review:
'Arthur Who Wrote Sherlock' by Linda Bailey with illustrations by Isabelle Follath is part of the Who Wrote Classics series.
Arthur Conan Doyle grew up poor, but with a mother that would tell him stories. When he learned to read, he would borrow lots of books from the library. When he gets older, he creates Sherlock Holmes. Holmes becomes so famous that Doyle decides to kill him off, but Holmes can't stay dead, can he?
I liked this biography and the great illustrations with it. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has an interesting story and this is a good telling of it for younger readers.
