'Marcus Rashford' by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara with illustrations by Guilherme Karsten is an ebook for young readers about a football star.
Marcus Rashford grew up in a loving family. They did what they could, but sometimes there wasn't enough food. Marcus fell in love with soccer early and trained hard to be a member of Manchester United. When 2020 hit, Marcus remembered how hard it was to find food when he was younger and he worked to keep kids fed while schools were closed.
This is a great series, and I learned about an inspiring young man that I didn't know about. The illustrations are as unique as the people the books are about.
