Amanda Gorman is best known as the young poet who won the crowd at Joe Biden's 2022 inauguration. But before that, we learn that she grew up with an auditory processing disorder and a speech impediment. This makes her accomplishment at 19 even more remarkable.
As ever, this series impresses. The illustrations by Queenbe Monyei are perfect. Recommended for young dreamers.
