'Alexander von Humboldt' by Peter Nys is the first book in the Great Minds series. A series about science and curiosity.
As a young child Alexander von Humboldt liked to collect and compare animals and rocks. Later he became a mine inspector. This led him to take voyages to far off places like South America and make many discoveries.
The story is great. The illustrations are fun. It's a good book for the little explorer in your life.
