review:
'Livewire Volume 3: Champion' by Vita Ayala with art by Tana Ford is a graphic novel about a superhero who is offered a chance to change popular opinion about her.
Livewire, in an act of defending the psiots, used her power to cut power, causing death and destruction. That caused people to understandably hate her. When a rising politician approaches her to make her part of his campaign, Livewire is skeptical. He promises to reverse laws against psiots. Can he be trusted?
I liked the story well enough. I like this character and she has an interesting story arc. I really didn't like the art all that much. It has lots of heavy lines and as the series progressed, the quality regressed like the artist was rushed.
I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Valiant Entertainment, and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.
